About Minesweeper

Minesweeper is the classic deduction grid: some squares hide mines, the rest are safe. Opening a safe square shows how many mines touch it (including diagonals). Use those numbers to flag mines and open the rest of the board. This version uses a beginner 9×9 field with 10 mines and a guaranteed safe first click so you are not punished on move one.

How to play Minesweeper

1. Left-click (or tap) to open a square.
2. Right-click or long-press to flag a suspected mine.
3. A number is the count of mines in the eight surrounding squares.
4. Open every non-mine square to win. Hitting a mine ends the run.

Tips

• Start in the middle — openings tend to cascade.
• A 1 next to a single hidden neighbor is a mine. Flag it and move on.
• When two numbers overlap, subtract known flags before guessing.
