The 15-puzzle (sliding puzzle) is a 4×4 tray with tiles 1–15 and one gap. Slide a tile into the gap to reorder the picture — here, the numbers. Only half of all shuffles are solvable; our shuffle always is.
How to play Sliding Puzzle
- Tap a tile that sits next to the empty square to slide it.
- Sort tiles 1–15 left to right, top to bottom, with the gap at the end.
- Use Shuffle for a new solvable mix.
Tips
- Solve row by row. Lock the first row before fighting the rest.
- The last two rows need a little back-and-forth — that’s normal.
